House of the Heart Art Class
Exploring our beliefs about our belonging; where do I belong?
As children one of the first things we learn to draw is a house. We create stories around this and belonging. We will create our home, the House of the Heart, where we find deep connection and a sense of fearless belonging. Painting out the beauty that we each have and hold in our hearts, where we belong.
Date and Time TBA
An Intentional Creativity Workshop to explore our beliefs about our belonging; where do I belong?
As children one of the first things we learn to draw, along with stick figures, is a house. We create stories around this, and our belonging beliefs are based on our life growing up. As Albert Einstein said, “There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything as a miracle.” From here we orientate ourselves in the world based on those beliefs, knowingly or not. Based on whether we belong or not.
How would you experience everything if we believed we are here with a purpose, one of fearless belonging?
This session we will create our home, the House of the Heart, where we find deep connection and a sense of fearless belonging. Painting out the beauty that we each have and hold in our hearts, where we belong.
Materials provided: Sharpies, paint, watercolour paper 300g, paint, glitter, red thread, paper and pens for writing.
